Game Day - Today?

Today is my gameday! USC is playing Cal tonight in San Francisco. This is special because Cal is having their stadium renovated/earthquake retrofitted and is playing all their home games in San Francisco at AT&T Park which is were the San Francisco Giants play. I am too excited to go to the game. I am hoping for a big win tonight! I bought my tickets through StubHub because I just decided to go to the game a week ago. Friday's Fancies - Come Fly With Me

It's the end of the week and it's time for Friday's Fancies again with the lovely {av} at long distance loving. (How amazing is that banner? I love a tweed pattern and think this dress plus a colorful cardigan is perfect for cooler temperatures. Cupcake a Month

I love baking in case you didn't know. My favorite thing to bake is cupcakes because they're so fun and cute! I decided to bake a monthly cupcake to bring to work (so I won't have to eat all of them). Each month will be a different cupcake that is inspired by the month. For September I made Cinnamon Apple Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting since fall starts in September and nothing says fall like apples. I used this recipe from Duncan Hines. Halloween Ribbon Wreath

Two weekends ago, I decided I wanted to make a ribbon wreath for Halloween. So I headed to Michael's to pick up my materials since they were having a sale on ribbon. I used instructions from The Picky Apple but I guess I didn't read them thoroughly because she says to "avoid sheer ribbon unless you enjoy getting hot glue all over your fingers." I didn't.
