Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

With the opening of Vineyard Vines on the West Coast at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, I remembered about the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. I have never seen it in person but I think it would be so cool to see all the boats decorated. I read that some boats have over $50,000 in decorations on them!

Here are a few of pictures of boats in the parade as well as houses that are along the waterfront.

Holiday Favorites Link-up : Holiday Playlist

I'm linking up with two of my favorite bloggers: Michelle at a little bit of this & that and Lyndsay at SimplyLyndsay.

I actually really LOVE Christmas music so I was super excited when I saw that this would be a topic for the link-up. I may have 3 different Christmas music playlists on my itunes but I wanted to narrow it down to some of my all time favorites for this post. This list has a little bit of everything in my opinion. Classic Christmas songs, Christmas movies songs, and fun 90s pop Christmas songs.

I love N SYNC's Christmas CD! I always listen to it this time of year. Does anybody remember when they did some Christmas special on the Disney Channel way back when they were popular?

Go join up in the Holiday fun and tell us what's on your holiday playlist!

Easter Goodies!

Saturday my sister and I took a cupcake decorating class at JoAnn's. It was actually a lot of fun because our instructor was a little all over the place and there was this older lady who was super funny. The cupcakes were Spring themed and I wanted to share some pictures.

 All my decorated cupcakes

 Basket full of "eggs"

 Pink & Green hat

 Butterfly in the grass

 Bird's Nest with "eggs"

 A Chick with its eggs

Cupcake stand with all the decorated cupcakes

We also colored some eggs but I was not very good at it as you will see my cross coloring. Here are a few of my colored eggs:

Pink & Green!

I unintentionally colored this the Miami Dolphins team colors

 True meaning of Easter

(please note it does say "risen" the n is just to the side)
