Friday's Fancies - White Christmas

I am linking up with the sweet {av} for Friday's Fancies today.

White Winter Wonderland

Truth: This is one of my favorite Friday's Fancies.

When I saw that this week's theme was for winter white I knew exactly what I wanted the outfit to look like and this pretty much matches exactly to what I was going for. This ALC cocktail party dress ($498) is perfect to wear to holiday party if you are looking to stand out. In keeping with the holiday theme, I wanted to add in some color and I think these Christian Louboutins ($895) are the perfect shade of red. I would love a pair of these in real life but I wouldn't have anywhere to wear them to.

For accessories, I tried to stay in the same color family as the shoes and found a Syndey Evan diamond cross bracelet ($1,760) and these Tarina Tarantino drop earrings ($55). I really thought the name of these earrings were appropriate for the occassion: Santa Claus "Visions Of Sugarplums" Drop Earrings. To finish the look I added this adorable Kate Spade Curling Ribbon Bow Headband ($75 - currently on sale for $45).

I love linking up with {av} and dreaming up these fun, festive outfits. xoxo

Friday's Fancies - Come Fly With Me

It's the end of the week and it's time for Friday's Fancies again with the lovely {av} at long distance loving.

(How amazing is that banner? Thanks {av}!!!)

One of the new shows I am watching this fall is Pan-Am. My outfit today is inspired by the show. I love a tweed pattern and think this dress plus a colorful cardigan is perfect for cooler temperatures. I added a large bag which could be used as a carry on to hold your passport and other travel essentials. I finished the outfit with a cute pair of heels that you could easily slip on and off when you go through the security line.

Normally I never wear anything this glamourous when I travel. I would love to go back in time and experience air travel the "Pan-Am" way instead of the Southwest way (there's nothing wrong with Southwest service, I usually just don't like Southwest passengers). Head over to long distance loving and create your own Friday's Fancies to share with {av} and the rest of us!

Friday Fancies

Hi there! I have been way MIA on the blog but of course there is no better way to get back into blogging than joining a link up. Since it's Friday, I am linking up with {av} for a fall inspired outfit. If I had an unlimited budget, I would definitely have this entire outfit in wardrobe.

Under the Boardwalk

My sister and I are headed to Santa Cruz this afternoon. They have one-hit wonder bands from the 70s and 80s play free shows on the beach every Friday night. My sister has to go because she is taking a sign language class and they have an ASL (American Sign Language) intreputer there signing the whole concert.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of my favorite places. We used to go there a lot when I was younger. My whole 7th grade even went on a field trip there. The boardwalk is one of the oldest remaining. It opened in 1907! They have great classic rides there.
Giant Dipper Roller Coaster
The Skyglider
The swinging Pirate Ship
Looff Carousel which just turned 100 years old in August!
When I go to the boardwalk I usually dress pretty casual but when it first opened up people would dress up. I thought I would do a Friday Fancies as if I was in the 1930s/1940s going to the Boardwalk.

Double the Fun & Fashion- Friday Fancies

Are you ready for another edition of Friday Fancies with {av}? This week's theme was red. When I read the theme I immediately knew exactly what type of top I wanted to build my outfit around. When I searched on Polyvore, I found two amazing tops so instead of making one complete outfit (with accessories) I thought I would make two basic outfits (without accessories)! Double the fun and fashion!

Rockin' Red - Friday Fancies

The day look pairs Clube Bossa Velour Short White Mini Skirt with a red Lanvin One Shoulder Blouse. I love the tie belt on the skirt and the detail on the shirt. I'm thinking I would pair this outfit with a pair of brown leather wedges.

For the night outfit, I paired J Brand white capri jeans with this gorgeous Vionnet Draped asymmetric silk-crepe top (that is only $1,010). I love the flow of this top. I'm not sure what shoes I would wear this outfit, maybe silver TB Revas?

I would love it if you went to {long distance loving} and "liked" my Friday Fancies. Hope you dolls have a fabulous weekend! xoxo

To the Max- Friday Fancies

Happy Friday blog loves!
I'm linking up for Friday Fancies yet again with {av} from {long distance loving}. This week's theme was maxi dresses. I had originally accessorized this dress with the same shoes and hat I used for my Independence Day Friday Fancies without fully realizing it. So I took the hat off and found some different shoes which I really like. The detail on the sandals match the beading on the neckline of the dress. I wanted to keep this outfit simple because when I think of maxi dresses I think of you wearing one when you just want to be relaxed. So I added a crossbody bag you can just put it on and not worry about where your things are. I added a orange/light peach kate spade bangle for a pop of color.

Friday Fancies - Dancing the Night Away

I'm linking up this week for Friday Fancies with {av} of {long distance loving}.
My inspiration this week was a night out dancing. I picked this DVF dress because I love the color and I thought it has fun texture to it. I love the idea booties but I doubt I would ever be able to pull them off in real life but I love how the add some edge to this look. They just so happen to be DVF as well. What outfit would be complete without accessories? I picked a fun cocktail ring and some great dangle earrings which would be shown off if you put your hair up in this great messy bun. I felt this hairstyle is perfect so your hair is out of your face and off your neck to keep you cool while you are dancing the night away. To complete the look I add a black quilted clutch mainly because I can't get enough of quilted purses.
Night Out

If you like my outfit, please go like it on long distance loving! Have a great weekend! xo
