I have been playing Luke Bryan's new album on repeat for the past week during my commutes to and from work. But I also love this Justin Moore song. I love his accent.

I love the sound of this song and had to know what the meaning of the song was. It’s about making the most of whatever time you are given, whether it’s 2 years or 20 years.
I heard this song once Monday on Pandora and once on Tuesday on my local radio station. I remembered how great it was hearing it live when I saw him earlier this summer. I am looking for a bad boy but a real good man.
I had to throw this one in too just because his hair is hilarious in this video. It was 1994 what can you expect.

First up is an old song. Recently it has been featured in the previews for "Friends With Benefits", JT sings a little bit of while in bed with Mila because she wants to hear some Third Eye Blind. He starts to sing this song and she tells him it isn't Third Eye Blind.
Anyways, this song always reminds me of my 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. and Virginia. I bought the CD because I was in love with this song (I remember the rest of the CD wasn't that great.) I remember listening to this song on my Discman(!) while sitting on one of those big tour buses after one of the other girls on the trip turned on the A/C because it was ridiculously humid outside.
The other song I have been obsessed with recently like I have it on repeat all day long is this one by Matt Nathanson. I saw him a few weeks ago at Summerthing and I get to see him again when he comes with Train & Maroon 5!

Love Love Love this song! Who else is reminded of the scene in The Sandlot when they are playing their one night game of the year under the fireworks?
The first time I saw Brooks & Dunn in concert this was one of the last songs, if not the last song, they sang and it was amazing especially when they brought members of the military up on stage.

Quick post tonight! I had a busy day at work. I was actually hardly even in the office. My supervisor and I went to another one of our offices that is about 70 miles away so I spent most of my day in a car. I am totally obsessed with Leighton Meester! I love her voice in both of these songs. The first one I was kinda relating to earlier this week so that's why I have been playing it. The second one is such a fun song and just gets me excited that it will be summer soon.

1. On the wall in my bedroom I still have a poster up that I hung when I was 14. It is a poster for Reef sandals with a female surfer (Lisa Anderson) riding this beautiful blue wave. I got it while I was in Hawaii for a band field trip in high school. The poster is just so pretty that I can't take it down.
2. Related to that, I went through a period where everything I owned was Roxy. Clothes, accessories, you name it I had it. I still have a few select items that I love and can't part with but my days of dressing like a California surfer girl are over.
3. I am notorious for starting craft projects but not finishing them.
4. I am looking for to coloring eggs for Easter. I want to try the Glitter egg decorating kit.
5. I went to exactly one basketball game during college. It wasn't really a big sport but the school had built this nice new arena my last year there and I wish I had gone to a game in the old arena and more in the new one.
6. One of my best purchases I ever made was buying a water case for my digital camera. I used it several different trips and I love taking pictures underwater while snorkeling.
7. I wish Starbucks would bring back the banana Frappuccino they had in the summer a few years ago. I anxiously wait each summer to see if they will bring it back.

Let me flashback to 2003/2004, one of my friends from home was visiting me at college and he had the idea to look up songs with our names in the title. A bit narcissistic? Yes but who doesn't like to hear their own name. One of the songs that came up was by a band called the Graham Colton Band. I immediately downloaded it and fell in love. I downloaded the whole album and became a fan. I have seen him 3 times and he is great live. He just came out with a new video which is so cute and I wanted to share it with you guys! Hope you enjoy what I'm playing...

Today I'm playing one of my favorite musicians: Jack Johnson. He's such a cutie, lives in Hawaii, likes to surf, plays the guitar, and cares and the enviroment. What else can you ask for?
When I was in Hawaii for work (yes, work) the restaurant/bar in our hotel had this song on loop so you would hear like 4 times in an hour. It always reminds me of the fun we had there.
I think this video is so funny with Andy Samberg.
Since it's all gloomy and rainy here today, I wanted to see this video since I love the ocean part of it. It looks so beautiful and I wish I was there instead of here right now! And he just looks so cute with Curious George.
I did a little shopping today because I wanted to finish getting everything for the Pink Swap I'm participating in. I found a set of pink and green socks that are perfectly preppy!
I got everything for the Pink Swap too. I thought I was spending too much but then I went back and read the rules and the limit is $30 (I thought it was $20). I was just a few cents shy of $30 so it worked out perfectly!
Another thing I found today was this new link up called "What I'm Playing Thursday"! I found it on Michelle's blog a little bit of this & that and I immediately had to check it out. I LOVE music. I'm usually listening to something all day long. I figured this would be perfect for me. So here it goes...What I'm Playing Thursday.
I haven't even seen this movie but I love Leighton. This song is just so peppy and upbeat, I can't help but love it and dream of summer days to come.
I love Carrie and this song is one of my favorites. She looks amazing in this video and I love to listen to it while working out. I guess it inspires me so I can get legs like hers!
